Opening of the red line and green line extension

Initially, an extension of the green line stemming from klus square was planned, but the recised proposal has been realized now. Some playroom was left to the planners from MetroSys, as the already existing klus square stop was not yet connected to the overground. The green line did not serve the new origin main station yet, so the station was connected underground to a new station for a new line, the red metro. Initially part of the extension, the red metro was split off from the green metro to avoid confusion at Portbryn Square, where it would create a loose loop. The new red line connects the main station, bexley hill where the bexley universities students live, portbryn square where the line meets the green line, terminating at enfield station with lazy bexleian and eastern mainline service. An extension to shepton is planned, but will likely follow with the new shepton station build. The stations metier (formally main station) and origin which only existed as unconnected stops underground have been connected to the outside world. A new station at ferrowfield should allow for easy access for workers in the new industrial area. Portbryn Square directly connects the green and red metro, the lazy bexlian and the astokeshire line. The line terminates just south of the enfield briedge, next to the southernmost bexley engineering lab. The stations northwark docks and hammer are not yet connected, but the Metrosys planners noted that the current placement of the stations is suboptimal. Northwark Docks should be moved to waterworks, where the klusbahn and the northern mainline currently terminate. The location of the hammer station is currently straight beneath hammer square, which would require an extensive underground structure just to move the stops location a few blocks over.

Moving Northwark Docks to Waterworks seems unnecessarily disruptive and expensive. Surely there are more practical solutions for improving access.

While the red line connection is welcome, moving Northwark Docks to Waterworks seems like a logistical nightmare.
