Station History

We have collected all known information about the railway stations in the city of pilegron to compile this list of train stations First station on Main Street Pilegron needed rail even back when the western wall was not errected yet. Thus the first station was built. The first railway line went north, to approximately where Bourbaki is nowadays. It had a line going through what we now know as Kensington, and a freight yard, now known as the Moonshine Park. Another line went to the docks. The Allied Transyn building is now located at the site of the first railway station. The line through kensington had a stop, which still exists (-72, 165) Areal shot of the first station (left), before the yard was built Station at the docks with a map of the city. The hotel in the background still exists Station entrance facing main street A second attempt The first station was too small very quickly, so a new station had to be built. The yard was keept, but a tunnel connected the main lines to the new station, burried under the to-be-constructed Metier building. The station even contained an underground boat connection (see pilegron news 2023-02-01). The city back in September 2021 The city grew a lot and the area inside walls was almost used up by October 2021 The congress underground station The city grew out of its old bounds in Novemer 2021. The are in Blacksmith was to become the new home of the big congress building. The complex would be built on top of a big new main station, fully submerged into the ground. Congress was built and so did the station. The tracks exited east, through a tunnel at hammer. The exit is still visible today, just walk through the opening at Hammer Street. The building was too large. It did not fit into the city, thus it was removed pretty quickly - replaced by social housing, now known as New Republic. The arch, where speeches should have been held still exists at Gate Street. The underground station was closed, although the remains are still under new republic today. The congress building in Blacksmith The station today, the tracks on the bottom right head towards the Origin Main Station Back to the old plan Metier station was not perfect, but the building was in the middle of the city and there was plenty of space for platforms. The station was back to its old location, but now inside the hall instead of underground. The first tracks connected to the station through the Uxbridge bridge, followed by tracks connecting using the Kensington tunnel and bridge and finally the new line to Enfield. Although very central, the building proved to be a hassle, because it could not be extended towards the Eastern Wall. The Origin Main Station GovCom was created (see our first issue, 2022-12-21), and the rest is history! Metier when it was built, later moved some blocks back

This article brings back fond memories of riding the train from Metier to Kensington as a young lad. It's fascinating to see how our city has grown and changed over time.

I remember when they were building the Metier station. It was a real mess! But it's nice to see a proper history of our railway.

This article is quite good! I remember taking the train to Bourbaki as a young man. Pilegron has certainly come a long way!
