The second survey for the variant B has been completed. The embankment remains the biggest challenge for the project. An additional street connecting the
Blethergate Rookery and
Inverportshire should be considered.
The
Inverportshire Spice Storage has to be demolished to allow for this extension, which the privately traded company has to agree to. A buyout could prove expensive, as they'd need to relocate their spice port.
The stream in
Blethergate Rookery is another obstacle, it has to be rerouted to drain before the station, or a modern and expensive pumping station has to be bought from
Acryps in Pilegron. They are currently the only manufacturer producing this type of machine.
A relocation of the Blethergate Grand Station slightly to the west has been recommended, to make the center of the station align with Gullrock Row, which allows for a cheaper cut and cover building technique compared to building a tunnel below housing.
