Signed Building Code

The Department of Nature and Structures has laid down the legal fundation for city wide building code enforcement, which has been handled by the boroughs before. This new ruling should decrease complexity and allow for more innovation for standardized goods. Building code rules are developed by the Pilegron City Standards and Code Board, a new subdivision within the department. Publishing takes place in the CSCB News format. Each standard has its name based on an incremental rule number, and an incremental version number. For example: CSCB5-2 denotes rule 5, version 2. Chapters within the ruling may be named after the rule name, prepended by ‘-‘, for example: CSCB5-2-3 New rules only take effect on structures that are newly built or when structures are revised. Ongoing projects are not required to follow the boards new rules released during their construction. Only where absolutely required, the board may report to the courts at law house and require, upon a judges appropriate ruling, existing or in progress structures from being upgraded. All rules must have an intent and purpose section, explaining why they have been developed. CSCB may release or drop rules at any time.
