Five propsals for the new northern railway lines from origin have been submitted, which will be further discussed here. Parliament will decide on the best proposal based on practicality, cost and historical disturbance. If possible, a proposal with the best economic benefit will be chosen.
Proposal 1, submitted by Ramsely Architecture Company from
Paddington: Packed with a grand rebuild of
Hammer with its own new mainline station and a connection with the acient and currently inactive
Paddington Railway. This proposal requires the demolition of the lowest floor of the
Paddington Customs Authority (currently not listed), the abandonend Economy Ministry building amd the
Hammer Business Tower.
Lars's Townhouse would be fully exposed and viewable from all angles, new office blocks increase the area's economic position. Ramsely claims that this proposal has the most economic benefit for the area, which legitimize the sacrifices that would have to be made.
The second peoposal by the
Bexley Studens Railway Lab contains a hammer station similar to Proposal 1 - moved to the right by removing some of the rock in
Waterworks. The main feature of this proposal is its greatly reduced cost due to the innovative routing of the
Klus Mountain tunnel. The lab estimates a 70% reduction in production effort.
Proposal 3,
Lloyd Architecture Company: Use the
Kensington City Tunnel, expand to
Hamstad, rush through
Anker,
Regent and
Bourbaki. Lloyd's focus is a non-disruptive build. The proposal calls for the demolition of the northern platform at
Leurop Station but dies not disrupt the Inton Railway or the
Hornaby Railway. A stop at City,
Bourbaki, Leurop or
Brimpton (south) could be realized. The route is not very direct and the economic benefits are minimal.
Proposal 4 by
Brimpton Housing Lab: A direct route, straight through the heart of the city and directly into the panda park. This proposal requires the western part of the park to be converted into a bridge section, replaces the abandoned house in
Blacksmith and adds a bridge next to the Main Street bridge to
Northwark Gate. The Metrosys Factory in
Harrow needs to be resized too. Although disruptive, the route is by far the fastest. The Lab argues that disruptions are unavoidable in order to create a efficient link.
The proposal 5 by
Lloyd Architecture Company from
Paddington aims to keep distrubance low, in fact is the only proposal that does not create any disruption. It calls for a closing fo the
Hornaby Line, as the
Shepton railway link is a more direct and efficient route. Problems: the tunnel thru
Klus Mountain is very pricey, the route is indirect and no economic benefits can be archived by this proposal.
