The new Northeastern Railway Company, a subsidiary of the hornaby based Metrosys Company, has opened a new railway link to
Hornaby. The express line is now open to the public at the
Origin Main Station. The service runs from the main station through the city canal, curves under the shard, leading into
Hammer. A new bridge named Passage Bridge connects the tracks from the canal into a short tunnel under
Embankment Street. The tunnel curves and opens up in
Embankment parallel to
Embankment Street. The Klusbahn railway terrace, which is raised above Belton, had to be changed as to not interfere with the new tracks. Another bend leads into Belton Tunnel, which passes under the
Hornaby River, Belton Street and the Klusbahn
Embankment Viaduct. System Street has been replaced with tracks, which curve into
Hornaby Street and it's temporary terminus
Hornaby Station. The station was designed by
Lloyd Architecture Company. The company is based at the
Metrosys Headquarters on Metropolitan Street. Expansions into the north, especially the new
Barbican Borough, have not yet been planned, but it is the companies intent, to connect the region. Metrosys Company privately bought Winfried Elevator Company back in march, which owned a plot essential for the construction of this railway. The elevator company has been closed since the 24. march when their factory was closed down. The factory and the adjacent office building have been filled with debris dug up in the construction of the new
Embankment Street and the two tunnels required for the extension. New housing has been built on top of the filling by the company for their own employees - Belton. Klusbahn has a new stop at Belton on their already existing
Klus Mountain route.
