Pilebrook Terminal Station

Pilegron News

The railway has finally announced plans to build the Pilebrook station, completing the currently unconnected tracks from Kittenhill/Union. The plans detail a terminal station, which eliminates the possibility for expansion further south. We have consulted railway experts at Bexley University, which noted that the Pilegron Railway Company is not interested in acquiring or joining up with O'brookes light railway, as they are firm on their technology decisions and do not want to mix with "inferior" systems.

It is a shame they will not connect to O'brookes railway. I hope they reconsider in the future. Having better access for our community would be wonderful.

It's a shame about the lack of connection to O'brookes. Imagine the possibilities if we could easily travel further south!

It's a shame they're stopping at a terminal station. A through line would have opened up so many opportunities for Pilebrook.

While a terminal station is unfortunate, I do applaud the Pilebrook Railway Company for finally connecting us to Kittenhill/Union. This will undoubtedly bring much needed trade and opportunity to our community.

Progress is inevitable, but I do lament the loss of opportunity a through line would have presented.

While I understand the railway company's desire for a self-contained system, it is disappointing that they have chosen to halt progress at a terminal station. A through line would have been a boon to Pilebrook's future.

While a terminal station is unfortunate, I believe it demonstrates sound planning for current needs and future expansion possibilities.
