The brunock rail bridge, which connects
Portbryn Station to the mountain route heading to
Astokeshire, will be partially rebuilt to accommodate the new developments in
Enfield and
Brunock. The end of the bridge currently leads into a very tight turn, which requires the trains to slow down drastically and is a safety concern. The bridge will be rerouted from the Lazy Bexlian Service Works towards the
Enfield Pateau, where the tracks will turn around and connect with the existing line thru a new tunnel. The modification will be financed by
Enfield Borough Administration (30%), the
Astokeshire Railway Company (30%), Straton Housing Company (20%) and the Lazy Bexlian Pulse Extension Company (20%). The LBPEC was incorporated to extend the service of the Lazy Bexlian towards
Pulse Research Tower. A stop on
Enfield Plateau, where the railway would connect with the
Astokeshire Railway, is part of the extension plan. The connection is crucial for the extension, as it would be the only connection with any other railway.
