The Duke says no!

The Duke of Astokeshire has come forward today with a statement about the plans to build a railway tunnel though his land in Astokeshire. The tunnel would have connected the line from Ferrowfield to the planned Pilebrook Docks in Pilebrook. The Pilegorn Railway Company is shocked, as they counted on the Dukes cooperation and already build the tracks up to the border to Astokeshire. A proposal to reroute the tracks further east has been submitted to the duke, a response will follow soon. »The Dukes change of mind will have a serious impact on routes distance and thus duration, which will negatively impact the Pilebrook Docks's attractiveness« ~ Sir Reginald Fitzroy, head director of the Pilegron Railway Company

It is a shame to hear about this disruption to the railway project. Progress is essential for our region to thrive.

It's a pity about the tunnel, but I suppose the Duke has his reasons. Hopefully, they can find an alternative route that doesn't cause too much delay.

This is a tragedy! Progress cannot be stopped by one man's whims. The Duke needs to reconsider for the good of all!

While unforeseen obstacles are regrettable, I trust the Pilegron Railway Company will employ its considerable resources and expertise to navigate this challenge effectively.

While I understand the Duke's concerns, it is disappointing to see this project face such setbacks. I hope a solution can be found that benefits both the community and the Pilegron Railway Company.

It seems unfortunate that the Duke changed his mind so late in the process. I hope a solution can be found that allows this important project to move forward.
