Finally plans for a unified station between the
Pilegron Railway Govcom (PRG) and O’brookes Railway Company (OBRC) have been released. The two companies will jointly rebuild union station, extending the station by two more platforms operated by OBRC - one to
Astokeshire and one to
Winthrop. The station extends to the west, replacing Industry Lane and
Ferrow Square. A new main road will connect Post Street with the Ferrowfiled Exchange, creating a large route for traffic to connect directly from
Leonshowe/Scity to
Ferrowfield. Westwood Street will be widened into a 7 block wide road, while the tracks will be raised by two blocks for better access under the tracks. The
Astokeshire Railway, operated by the PRG will be handed over to the OBRC, which will build a new line from
Portbryn to Union and
Astokeshire, while taking over the platform at the
Origin Main Station - a top priority for OBRC. Locomotive works for OBRC will be built on Kitten Hill, while the third rail and works at
Rochester Bridge will be removed in favor of a small yard before the curve. Yet two more
ShepCo Wool Company farms will be demolished for the moved
Rochester line, which have been compensated with new land to the south of their current plot. The station will entirely change the
Ferrowfield Borough, but it will not destroy its heritage: The Workers Guild,
Spawnmakers and
Packers Guild building have all been listed as historic-3vp.
Wavery Wheat’s storage facility building will be demolished, but a new, and way larger storage center will be built under Union Station, with a small freight-switching house sticking out on the north side of the station. A new watch tower will be built where the curve form
Rochester Bridge currently ends. The approach north of the station will be completely rebuilt, as the lines to
Pilebrook are not splitting anymore. The station will keep its original and defining endstone and birch finish.
The project is paid for by OBRC (OBRC platforms,
Astokeshire route,
Astokeshire split, 50% watch tower), PRG (PRG platforms,
Pilebrook line unsplitting, 50% watch tower) and the state (roads).

Westhood Street is blocked during the construction phase
The area south of the station will be entirely rebuilt, the
Rochester Bridge’s exit curve will be moved.
The tracks are clearly raised, as demonstrated by the tests done by OBRC.
Westhood Street is closed from both ends
