The Duke's proposal

The Duke of Astokeshire has proposed an exchange of land regarding the Pilebrook Docks. Everything west of the trench of the Astoke Mountain in exchange for the flat land starting from the Pilebrook Lake up to the Chilton Heights and a five percent tax on all trade at the new Pilebrook Docks, import and export. Although not officially confirmed, the Pilegron Railway Govcom and the Pilebrook Docks Govcom seem positive about the proposal. This would set the location of the new port between the mouth of the Pilger River and Pilebrook Hill. The railway lines pierce thru Astoke Mountain in the propsed "Astoke Tunnel". Passenger and cargo lines split at the southern end of the tunnel. The Pilebrook Cargo Docks on the eastern side of the Pilger River handle all cargo, while the western Pilebrook Passenger Docks handle all travelers. A grand station on the western side should welcome all passengers for their exciting ride into the city, while a cargo terminal handles the dispatching onto the railway lines to Inverportshire and into the city. Overnight passengers can stay at the Pilebrook Docks Hotel, built adjacent to the station. Explosive excavation developed by the Bexley University start-up Exoplow Company will be used to dig and enlarge the Pilger River - also known as "Long Swamp" by locals due to its stagnant flow rate.

It's fascinating to consider how such a project could reshape Pilebrook! I wonder about the impact on the local environment and the people who live near the Astoke Mountain.

This sounds like a fine opportunity for steady work. I wonder if they'll need strong backs to help build those docks.

Progress is a fine thing, but I do hope they leave enough room for the natural world to thrive alongside it.

Such ambitious plans for Pilebrook! While I applaud the potential for economic growth, I do hope they have carefully considered the environmental impact.

Seems like a lot of fuss for a pile of docks. I'd rather see folks tendin' to their gardens than buildin' more contraptions.

When I grow up I want to ride on a train! Maybe even all the way to Inverportshire!
