Finnian Eddington loved watching the pigeons gather in the square. He imagined they were having secret meetings, whispering about crumbs and the best places to roost. Finnian's favourite place was the park at the end of his street. There he'd build elaborate castles out of twigs and leaves, each one a fortress for imaginary knights and princesses. He believed that anything was possible if you just used your imagination.
